Routes in the Sierra de Grazalema

1. From Grazalema to Benamahoma (the Pinsapar route). One way, 11 kms, Grade 2/3). Permit required (see below).

2. To the Garganta Verde from Zahara-Grazalema road. There and back, 5km, grade 2. Permit required.

3. To the summit of El Torreon (1658m). There and back, 5.5kms. Grade 2/3. Permit required.

4. From Zahara de la Sierra to Benamahoma. One way, 18kms. Grade 3.

5. From Grazalema (Puerto del Boyar) to Benaocaz, via Casa del Dornajo. One way, 9.5kms, Grade 2.

6. From Benaocaz to Grazalema (Puerto del Boyar), via el Salto del Cabrero. One way, 9 kms, Grade 2. Can be combined with #5 for circular route.

7. Grazalema to Villaluenga del Rosario via Sierra Endrinal and los Nazazos del Cao. One way, 11kms, Grade 2/3.

8. Grazalema to Benaocaz via Sierra de Endrinal and los Navazos del Cao. One way, 12kms, Grade 2/3.

9. Ascent of Simancon (1545m) and Reloj from Grazalema. There and back, 9 kms, Grade 3.

10. Grazalema to Zahara de la Sierra via Arroyomolinos. One way , 14km. Grade 2

11. Grazalema circuit around El Peñon Grande. Circular, 6 kms, Grade 2

12. Villaluenga del Rosario to Navazo Alto (1395m). Circular, 7km, Grade 3.

The routes which are shown as needing permits are those where access is limited to a certain number of people or seasons of the year. To obtain a permit it is necessary to visit the offices of the Parque Natural in El Bosque, or call them on 956 72 70 29 to make alternative arrangements to obtain it.
